We'll scrutinize each player's history, dating back to college, and what they bring to the 2020 Broncos. Next up? Michael Ojemuida, the cornerback from Iowa who may have a bigger role this season than fans think.

When the Broncos drafted Ojemudia with the 77th overall pick, many fans didn't get or like the pick. However, we have since learned that a team before the Broncos picked again at No. 83 overall was targeting Ojemudia and many in the NFL thought highly of the former Hawkeye. 

In regards to the Broncos, it was easy to see why they liked him enough to take him at 77. Ojemudia is the perfect fit in the Vic Fangio scheme.

Ojemudia does such a great job of keeping plays in front of him and was one of the best corners when defending 15-plus yards downfield in college football for both 2018 and 2019. 

Ojemudia's tackling is strong and he can go get the ball as well. Those are exactly what Coach Fangio wants from his corners.

Ojemudia's ability to fit in right away and possessing all the ideal traits explains why he is being considered as a viable threat to win the No. 2 corner spot opposite A.J. Bouye with Bryce Callahan being stuck as the No. 3/nickel corner. 

The traits for the outside are better with Ojemudia than with Callahan. What does 2020 hold for the rookie third-rounder?
