Broncos Announce Final Injury Decision on WR Jerry Jeudy vs. Raiders

In this story:
The Denver Broncos are on the doorstep of their season-opening tilt with the Las Vegas Raiders. Since training camp began, the Broncos have been beset with injuries, losing multiple wide receivers to season-ending ailments.
There have also been various knicks and dings to key players, which have clouded their respective outlook for Week 1. Considering that Denver was the most snake-bitten team in the NFL last year, and arguably over the past four, the team could use a little good fortune by way of the injury bug.
On Friday, the Broncos released their final injury report for Week 1. Without further ado, here's where things stand with both teams.
Broncos
Questionable
- Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) | WR
- Riley Moss (abdomen) | CB
Full Go
- Patrick Surtain II (ankle) | CB
- Greg Dulcich (NIR-personal) | TE
- Chris Manhertz (chest) | TE
Analysis: Jeudy will be a game-time decision. It might be too much to hope that he plays after suffering his 'moderate' hamstring injury back in August. But there's a chance.
Moss missed all of training camp and the preseason, but as a rookie third-rounder, the Broncos are still counting on him to contribute in 2023. I'd be surprised if he plays, but time will tell.
Monitor Surtain's ankle situation, as he's one of the lynchpins to the Broncos finally producing a winning season. For now, he's been fully cleared to play. Meanwhile, Manhertz's blocking prowess will be deployed on Sunday.

Dulcich is completely healthy. His absence was not injury-related (NIR).
It's encouraging, for what it's worth, not to see running back Javonte Williams' name mentioned on the practice report. He might not get a full helping of snaps, but the Broncos are going to use their RB1 on Sunday vs. the same team against whom he suffered that grievous multi-ligament knee injury nearly a year ago.

Raiders
Questionable
- DeAndre Carter (knee) | WR
Out
- Chandler Jones (NIR) | DE
- Brandon Facyson (shin) | CB
Analysis: The Raiders are mostly healthy to open the season. And while they'll be without Jones, who's had a bizarre offseason locking horns with head coach Josh McDaniels, the Raiders will have quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo ready to go.
