Broncos' RB Phillip Lindsay makes some history in loss to Packers

Phillip Lindsay is a marvel.
He's 5-foot-8 and 190 pounds but he plays like he's 10-feet tall and bulletproof. Although the Denver Broncos lost their Week 3 bout, falling to the Green Bay Packers 27-16, Lindsay's contribution helped keep his team in the game.
Lindsay finished with 21 carries — a career-high — and 81 yards rushing, with two touchdowns on the ground. He also chipped in four receptions for 49 yards (also a career-high), giving him a grand total of 130 yards from scrimmage.
His two scores on the ground, however, put him in the Broncos' all-time annals. Playing in his 18th career game, Lindsay tied for the fourth‐fastest Bronco to reach double-digit rushing touchdowns to begin his career.
When it comes to Phillip Lindsay, nothing should surprise us anymore, I suppose. He's coming of an unprecedented rookie campaign in which he totaled more than 1,000 rushing yards, with double-digit touchdowns from scrimmage (nine rushing, one receiving), which earned him the distinction of garnering the first Pro Bowl berth in NFL history for an undrafted rookie offensive player.
Lindsay's second touchdown of the day vs. the Packers came on a gutsy 4th-&-goal call in which he was initially stuffed, but as he kept his legs churning, rookie left guard Dalton Risner literally picked his teammate up and tossed him the remaining foot or so into the end zone.
It was great to see two players from Denver's young core come through so strongly for the team. Would that the other 44 players who dressed on Sunday had played with the same want-to and intensity.
The Broncos are now 0-3 for the first time since 1999. A team searching for answers, the Broncos' next test will be the 1-2 Jacksonville Jaguars, who are heading to Denver for their Week 4 tilt at Mile High.
On the season, Lindsay has 160 yards rushing on 45 carries (3.9 avg) with two touchdowns, while adding 12 receptions for 102 yards through the air.
