Anthony Walker Jr. Interested in Returning to Browns per Source

In this story:
Anthony Walker has a level of interest in returning to the Cleveland Browns if it becomes possible this off-season, a source says. While the Browns have re-signed Sione Takitaki who has played some middle linebacker, but may not be available by the start of the season, they have yet to sign a starter at the position.
Walker has been beloved by his teammates during his time in Cleveland and many defensive teammates would be thrilled to have Walker back with the Browns.
Source: #Browns free agent LB Anthony Walker is interested in returning to Cleveland. I’m told he’s loved by teammates and was massive part of the team, especially in the locker room. The ball appears to be in the Browns’ court at the moment, but Walker is open to a return.

Walker originally signed a one-year deal with the Browns in 2021. During his first season in Cleveland, Walker had 113 tackles, two tackles for a loss and a quarterback hit.
Then in 2022, Walker tallied 13 tackles in three games before going down with a torn quadricep tendon which required season-ending surgery.
Walker was stellar for the Browns in coverage as well. The signing of Dalvin Tomlinson also has to be appealing for Walker as the Browns didn't have much protection in front of him his first two years. If they can get another defensive tackle next to him to improve that group, Walker would be poised to have his best season in Cleveland.
Following his injury, the Browns locker room definitely missed Walker’s leadership. The Browns have done more to improve the leadership and overall professionalism of the defense, they could certainly benefit from Walker being the vocal leader and captain of the defense.
Sione Takitaki one-year deal to remain with the Browns is worth $2.6 million deal. Deion Jones, who Cleveland traded for during the 2022 season, also remains a free agent.
