Browns Rule Players Out Ahead of Eagles Game

The Browns announced players that won't dress for tonights game in Philadelphia. Veterans Matthew Adams and Jake Grant are among those who won't play.

The Cleveland Browns announced a list of players that won't dress tonight for the team's third preseason matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles

The two players who stand out on this list and a bit of a mild surprise that won't suit up are veteran linebacker Matthew Adams and veteran wide receiver Jakeem Grant. Both players had returned to practice earlier in the week during joint practices against the Eagles. 

Both players have been unable to see the field yet this preseason and their chances to make the roster seem to be diminishing by the day. Players like linebacker Mohamoud Diabate and wide receiver Austin Watkins Jr. may be closing in on those final few roster spots.
