The Cleveland Browns had several players listed on the team's injury report yesterday that were a bit of a surprise. One of those listed was rookie defensive tackle Siaki Ika.

Ika who was drafted in the third-round of this past draft, was listed on the official injury report with a foot injury and was unable to practice as the team began its preparations for Pittsburgh. According to a report today from Scott Petrak, Ika is wearing a walking-boot on his right foot Friday before practice.

The news of Ika's injury this week has come out of nowhere. He was not listed on the injury report last week and was a game day inactive for the game on Sunday. Defensive tackle is a position that the Browns are banged-up at. Maurice Hurst and Shelby Harris were also unable to practice yesterday.

Yesterday there was no mention of Ika being injured during head coach Kevin Stefanski's media availability. Today is coordinator day with the media, so we may not receive many answers as they will often defer to Stefanski when asked about injuries to players.

The team will take the practice field today and we will have the full official injury report for Friday later this afternoon.
