Ravens Lose J.K. Dobbins for Year

In this story:
The Cleveland Browns aren't the only team in the AFC North to lose a key starter for the season after the first game. The Baltimore Ravens confirmed that running back J.K Dobbins has been lost for the year with a torn achilles.
Dobbins was expected to have a big season after returning to form late last season after he missed the entire 2021 from a torn ACL he suffered in the preseason. Dobbins had two rushing performances with over 120 yards over the last four games including one against the Browns in week-15 where he rushed for a season high 125 yards.
Behind Dobbins the Ravens will rely on some familiar names for Browns fans. Gus Edwards is a veteran Raven and will get a majority of the workload. Justice Hill has also seen plenty of live action in his time and the team has veteran Melvin Gordon on their practice squad. He will likely be added to the roster or be a game day call-up from the practice squad.
The Ravens were able to manage a week-one victory against the Texans but the biggest question for them will continue to be whether they can keep theirs starters healthy for the entire season.
