Concerns surrounding the health of the Cleveland Browns starting offensive tackles had put a cloud over what would otherwise be a 'Victory Monday' filled with pure joy. The team set its fanbase and pundits around the league abuzz with a dominant win against the consecutive AFC North champion Cincinnati Bengals.

The Browns did have their worst fears confirmed with the MRI results from starting right tackle Jack Conklin's knee injury. Conklin tore his ACL and MCL on the field when a Bengals defender rolled into his knee and will now miss the entire season.

It was also reported late yesterday that starting left tackle Jed Wills was taken for X-rays after the game with trainers after the game. Wills played the entire game so this was a bit of a surprise when it was reported. We had already been prepared to expect the bad news coming on Conklin after watching the replay and needing to be carted off the field.

Head Coach Kevin Stefanski helped calm any additional fears about Wills when he was asked about him during his Zoom session this afternoon with the media. He said that Wills is fine and will be available to play Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers.  This was great news as the team will already be forced to add one offensive tackle to the 53-man roster after the loss of Conklin.
