The Cleveland Browns returned to the practice field in Berea, for the first time in over a week as they made their return from Philadelphia. The team announced some good news on the injury front with two starters returning to practice after being fully cleared. In addition the list of players unable to practice continues to dwindle as we head into the final preseason game against the Chiefs on Saturday.

It didn't take long for all of the good news to be interrupted however, Browns rookie cornerback Cameron Mitchell left practice early on with trainers and headed to the locker room. Mitchell left Thursday night's game against the Eagles with an injury before returning a few series later. It was reported he was wearing a harness in practice to support the shoulder he banged-up.

Sometimes the adjustment of playing with new equipment can be an adjustment and hopefully he was just going inside due to the fit. We will be watching to see if he makes a return to the practice field or if we get an update from the team.

Not long after, third year wide receiver Anthony Schwartz who has been fighting for his life on this roster, also left the practice field with trainers. While nothing was evident he has had a recent history of hamstring injuries.

The most significant of the three, happened at the tail end of practice when starting right tackle Jack Conklin left the field headed to the locker room. Conklin was fully cleared from the concussion he suffered last week and was back practicing for the first time in a week.

We will keep you informed with updates as they happen.
