Buccaneers 2023 NFL Schedule Release Date Announced

The Buccaneers and their fans will soon know when they will exactly face off against their opponents during the 2023 season.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers along with all other thirty-one NFL teams will find out when they will play their 2023 opponents on Thursday, May 11th as first reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The NFL has recently made schedule release day a big event and this year the schedules will be released live on the NFL Network, however, as there always seems to be, certain game times will be announced throughout the day leading up to the event.

The Buccaneers 2022-23 season was supposed to be one filled with promise as the team was just two years removed from winning a Super Bowl and coming off a season that saw them win the NFC South handily, making it all the way to the NFC Championship Game before having their hearts ripped out by the eventual Super Bowl Champions - the Los Angeles Rams.

After the 2021 season, Brady had decided to retire, but then not even two months later decided to un-retire and return to Tampa Bay in search of another Super Bowl. Things did not go according to plan as the Bucs struggled to even make the playoffs and were eventually knocked out of them in the wild-card round by the Dallas Cowboys; finishing with a record of 8-9.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers now look a whole lot different than during the Tom Brady era. After cutting players, losing players in free agency, gaining players in free agency, new coaches, and the NFL draft, this Bucs team will look foreign to many fans. However, there is hope as a fresh start can be beneficial to all those involved.

The Bucs already know who their opponents will be in 2023, but the anticipation of when they will exactly match up with them will be heavy come Thursday, May 11th.
