Buccaneers Re-Sign Veteran Along the Offensive Line
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' offensive line will look different come the 2023 NFL season. The franchise has most recently traded away veteran guard, Shaq Mason, and also released veteran left tackle and longtime Buccaneer, Donovan Smith.

However, even with the most recent moves, the Bucs are bringing back a familiar face as they have agreed to a one-year deal with offensive guard Aaron Stinnie.
Stinnie, an undrafted free-agent signing by the Tennessee Titans in 2018, is entering his sixth season as a professional football player. Last season, Stinnie suffered a catastrophic knee injury during a preseason game against his former team, the Titans, causing him to miss the entirety of the 2022 season.
Now that he is presumably healthy for the 2023 season, Stinnie will by gunning for a starting spot on the Buccaneers' offensive line. With plenty of space open after the departures of the Smith and Mason, the Bucs plan to shuffle around some guys creating other openings that they may look to fill via free agency or the NFL Draft.
Stinnie is a familiar face within the Buccaneers organization and is most notably known for replacing an injured Alex Cappa during the team's 2020 Super Bowl run. If the Bucs indeed decide to roll Tristan Wirfs over to the left tackle position, they will also need to figure out what the plan is with Luke Goedeke, Nick Leverett and Robert Hainsey since the re-signing of Stinnie and the prenuptial return of center Ryan Jensen.
