Updated Super Bowl Odds for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Buccaneers viewed as sleepers for the 2023 Super Bowl heading into Week 18.

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren't dead yet. After an exciting 30-24 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Week 17 that saw Tom Brady complete 34-45 for 432 yards and 3 touchdowns - all to WR Mike Evans - the Bucs look to have life as they clinched the NFC South and secured the #4 overall seed in the NFC playoff race.

The Buccaneers' regular season may not have been pretty by any means, but with what appears to be a wide-open NFC this season, there is no reason to believe that these Bucs, led by Tom Brady, don't have somewhat of a chance to make a playoff run and maybe even another Super Bowl appearance. The Eagles are dealing with a questionable Jalen Hurts, the 49ers, albeit extremely talented, are on their third-string quarterback and the Vikings look like one of the more overrated top teams in the league.

Heading into week 18 the odds for who wins the Super Bowl are starting to shift as teams stake a claim to their playoff spots. For the Buccaneers, their odds drastically increased following their much-needed win against the Panthers last week, and appear to be a dark horse candidate to win the whole darn thing.

According to Caesars Sportsbook, the Buccaneers currently have the 7th best odds to win the Lombardi Trophy this season at +2500; a surge in their odds compared to the week before odds of +3500. Anything can happen once the playoffs begin, so be sure not to count the Buccaneers and Tom Brady out even with how rocky their regular season was.
