Bucs' WR depth could be tested in Week 4

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have talented pass-catchers all across their starting lineup, but their lack of experienced depth could be exposed in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Mike Evans is coming off a career day, having caught eight passes for 190 yards and three touchdowns against the New York Giants in a Week 3 loss. But it's what could be happening behind him that could make for a long day for Tampa Bay's offense Sunday.
Chris Godwin is one of the league's best No. 2 receivers, and could easily be a No. 1 for many teams across the NFL. But a nagging hip injury kept him out of practice throughout this week, and though he's expected to play through it Sunday, it's unlikely he'll be able to perform at his highest potential.
That could leave the Bucs relying on other receivers, and there's little in terms of proven talent on the squad.
Gone is Adam Humphries, the team's reliable slot target who left in free agency for the Tennessee Titans this offseason. Instead, the Bucs will have to count on Breshad Perriman, Justin Watson, Bobo Wilson and Scotty Miller.
Perriman was a first-round bust for the Baltimore Ravens, and despite his impressive combination of size and speed, has struggled to catch the ball consistently. He dropped a sure touchdown in a Week 2 win over the Carolina Panthers.
Watson is a second-year player who is still working to carve out a role, while Miller is a late-round rookie without many offensive snaps under his belt. Wilson's speed has seen him featured in the return game, but he hasn't seen tons of regular-season action, either.
Thankfully for the Bucs, they do have a talented pair of tight ends in O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate, both of whom should help mask their lack of quality depth at receiver this week. Look for them to see increased targets if Godwin is running at less than 100 percent.
