Bucs vs. Cardinals: Live Updates from Week 10

It's a beautiful day for football in Tampa Bay, as the Bucs finally return home after a seven-week stretch away from Raymond James Stadium.

Keep it locked here for instant updates throughout today's game against the Arizona Cardinals.

FIRST QUARTER

13:35

The worst possible start for the Bucs, as Jameis Winston is picked off by Cardinals rookie Byron Murphy on the third play of the game. Cardinals have the ball in Tampa Bay territory.

11:13

A huge stop for the Tampa Bay defense, as they hold the Cardinals to a field goal after Winston's interception on the game's opening drive. It's a situation they've been put in far too many times so far this season, but they come through yet again. Cards lead, 3-0.

3:42

Ronald Jones II continues to solidify himself as Tampa Bay's lead back, making multiple big plays as a receiver before capping off an impressive drive with a 7-yard touchdown run. Jones came up with a huge 17-yard screen play on 3rd-and-15 to keep the drive going, and now he gives Tampa Bay a 7-3 lead in the first quarter.

SECOND QUARTER

14:14

Aided by back-to-back false start penalties and a truckload of tackles by Devin White, the Bucs hold the Cardinals to yet another field goal as the second quarter gets underway. Tampa Bay keeps the lead, 7-6.

8:53

Another strong drive for the Tampa Bay offense, but this one stalls inside the red zone, thanks to an intentional grounding call on Jameis Winston as he tried to throw the ball away on a blown-up screen pass. Matt Gay still gives the Bucs some points for their trouble, hitting a 30-yard field goal to stretch the Tampa Bay lead to 10-6.

7:42

A big three-and-out forced by the Tampa Bay defense, kicked off by Jordan Whitehead blowing up a first-down running play in the backfield, and punctuated by a third-down sack of No. 1 pick Kyler Murray by Shaq Barrett. Barrett extends his league lead in sacks with 11.5, and the Cardinals have to punt.

6:10

Jameis Winston overthrows T.J. Logan on a wheel route that could have been a huge play on third down, but the Bucs are forced to punt instead. Thanks to a fair catch made at the 6-yard line, Arizona will be backed up near their own end zone to start the next drive.

5:13

Another three-and-out forced by the Tampa Bay defense, as the Bucs continue to put plenty of pressure on Murray. Bucs have the ball at their own 39-yard line with a chance to extend their one-score lead just before the half.

1:03

After trading punts, the Cardinals convert a risky 4th-and-5 at midfield on a circus catch from Larry Fitzgerald, and two plays later, Murray hits Christian Kirk with a gorgeous 33-yard touchdown pass. Bucs second-round pick Sean Murphy-Bunting got burned on the play, and now the Cardinals lead, 13-10.

0:08

O.J. Howard lives! The former top-20 pick catches three passes on the drive, including an impressive back-shoulder grab over a defender, then caps off the possession with a 10-yard touchdown catch. Bucs take the lead back, 17-13.

THIRD QUARTER

8:42

Another solid drive ends in three points for the Bucs, as they stretch their lead on another field goal from Gay. It's a touchdown lead for Tampa Bay, 20-13.

8:10

Well, that didn't take long. Kirk scorches the Tampa Bay secondary for the second time, hauling in a 69-yard touchdown pass from Murray. We're all tied up at 20.

1:14

After a costly interception from Jameis Winston deep in their own territory, the Bucs get a huge takeaway of their own as Lavonte David strips the ball from David Johnson and recovers it himself. Once again, the Tampa Bay defense bails out the offense after a turnover. The play was initially ruled down by contact, but was overturned upon review.

FOURTH QUARTER

9:44

A big scramble from Winston, a big catch from Scotty Miller, and a offsides penalty that erased a missed field goal all combine to give Tampa Bay the lead back. Matt Gay nails his second attempt, this time from 41 yards, to give the Bucs the 23-20 advantage.

7:22

What else does this game need? How about a flea-flicker fake punt? That's what the Cardinals do, and it eventually leads to a third touchdown from Murray to Kirk. The drive was helped by a controversial pass interference call on M.J. Stewart that was upheld upon review, even though replay clearly showed Larry Fitzgerald pulling Stewart down by his arm. Cardinals lead, 27-23.

6:38

Just when it looked like the Bucs were putting together a strong drive of their own, Ronald Jones II coughs up the ball after a long reception, and the Cardinals recover. Tampa Bay needs another big stop on defense if they want another shot at this game.

3:40

And get the big stop they do. After letting the Cardinals get inside the red zone, rookie Jamel Dean comes up with a huge interception inside the 10. Tampa Bay has their second takeaway of the game, and the Bucs have a chance to mount a game-winning drive with less than four minutes remaining.

1:43

Thanks in large part to multiple pass interference calls, the Bucs take back the lead on a 1-yard touchdown run by Peyton Barber. The Cardinals have plenty of time and one timeout, so the Bucs need one more stop out of their defense to win this one. It's 30-27, Bucs.

0:00

The Bucs break up a Hail Mary heave, and they break the four-game losing streak.
