The Tampa Bay Buccaneers scored an epic road win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday afternoon, but they did it without the services of their top pick in the 2019 NFL draft.

Linebacker Devin White left the team's Week 2 win over the Carolina Panthers with a knee injury, and has missed the past two games.

Wednesday's practice saw the return of White to the field, albeit in what appeared to be a limited capacity, judging by the early portion of practice open to the media.

White was a star at LSU, and impressed the Bucs' decision-makers throughout the predraft process. Tampa Bay made White the No. 5 overall pick in this year's draft, sliding him into the vacant spot left behind by Kwon Alexander, who signed a huge deal with the San Francisco 49ers in free agency.

White's return to the practice field bodes well for his chances of seeing game action in the near future. It remains to be seen whether or not he'll be able to return for Sunday's road trip to New Orleans to face the division-rival Saints.
