Yes, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers got another big win this offseason when they lured Rob Gronkowski out of his brief retirement to reunite with Tom Brady.

But now that Gronk's back in the league, is he still deserving of a high rating in this year's "Madden NFL" video game?

The folks at EA Sports sure seem to think so, which is why Gronk has a player rating of 95 in the game, ranking him No. 3 among tight ends.

But many fans aren't thrilled about Gronk's rating, which is higher than that of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, the NFL's reigning MVP and the cover athlete for "Madden NFL 21."

Twitter blew up after the ratings were released, with many wondering how Gronk could get such a high rating after a year away from football:

While Gronk is obviously one of the best tight ends in NFL history, it's understandable for fans to be puzzled by his extremely high rating in the game, considering how banged up he was when he retired, and the fact that he's been out of the game for more than a year.

Even so, Bucs fans will certainly enjoy the benefits of that high rating when they use him to dominate their virtual opponents in the red zone.
