Tom Brady Squashes Rumors of Turmoil with Patriots' Head Coach Bill Belichick

Former Bucs' quarterback put to rest rumors of turmoil between him and New England Patriots' head coach Bill Belichick.

Tom Brady spent the final three seasons of his career quarterbacking the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In just his short time in Tampa Bay, Brady was able to bring the organization its' second-ever Lombardi Trophy.

However, prior to his move to Tampa, Brady spent the majority of his career with Robert Kraft, Bill Belichick, and the New England Patriots on his way to a whopping six Super Bowl victories.

At the time of his departure from New England, there was speculation that one of the reasons for Brady's move to the Buccaneers was due to friction between himself and head coach Bill Belichick. Brady, who is set to return to Foxborough to be honored for his successes during the Patriots' week 1 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, spoke on his relationship with Belichick and maintains that the two "have a positive relationship and always will.

“Were there times where you know it wasn’t always eye to eye? Very few and far between, actually. I still envision our relationship as positive and always will,” Brady said.

Brady said Belichick “was one of the first people to text me after we won the Super Bowl in Tampa.”

Even though Brady is adamant that the relationship between him and Belichick was/is copasetic, it's hard not to justify it being one of the reasons he decided to leave New England for Tampa Bay while still playing at such a high level.
