Cardinals WR Marquise Brown Defends Kyler Murray After Kelvin Beachum Comments

The Arizona Cardinals have often found themselves in headlines for all the wrong reasons in the last calendar year. That trend continued when pending free agent offensive lineman Kelvin Beachum went on Arizona Sports 98.7 and said Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray needed to grow up.
"He has all the tools man. He can throw if off one leg, he can throw it a mile. He can run faster than anybody on the field," said Beachum.
"I didn't say he lacks the leadership, I just think he needs to grow up a little bit. I think if he has the ability and willingness to grow up, he's gonna be just fine. They paid him for a reason. They paid him because of his talent. He has the ability to lead - it's just when you're in that position, we need you to lead more."
As expected, some in the Cardinals' locker room took exception to that comment. Wide receiver Marquise Brown didn't hold back on Twitter after seeing what Beachum said:
"I ain’t never seen this much collusion from within , we got each-other number but steady get on podcast or tweet sh!t it’ll be different if it was addressed in person first cause 1 ain’t never public bash or talk down anybody even after years of runing 4 his lif @KelvinBeachumJr"
Brown then sent out another tweet:
Murray has been the topic of heavy debate and criticism after receiving his extension last summer.
It's clear Brown (who was teammates with Murray back in their college days at Oklahoma) doesn't want to let that comment slide.
Beachum is set to hit free agency this offseason and Brown is entering the final year of his deal.
