INDIANAPOLIS -- The Arizona Cardinals currently sit with the No. 4 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, which could lead to a plethora of avenues when they're eventually on the clock.

The three teams currently ahead - Chicago, Washington and New England - are either favorites to take a quarterback themselves or trade out of the top three for a team who would.

The latest from NFL insider Ian Rapoport on what could unfold in front of the Cardinals with top quarterbacks such as Caleb Williams, Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels available:

"The Chicago Bears met with all of the top guys. Washington Commanders, the Patriots - that's 1, 2 and 3. The Raiders of course, a team that potentially would need to trade up for a quarterback. Atlanta Falcons, Jets, Giants, Vikings and Saints - there right there guys are your quarterback teams.

"Several of these teams including the Giants, including the Falcons, including the Bears, would need to trade up. Really one of the biggest questions going into this draft process: If we assume right now that the Chicago Bears stick at one and take Caleb Williams, how willing are the Commanders to trade back from two and who comes up? How willing are the Patriots to trade back from three and who comes up there?

"You know that they are going to get interest. In fact, my understanding is both of these have already received interest from teams trying to come up. But do the Commanders and the Patriots make the same decision, which is to say we are not quite there yet. We need to build. We need all of these draft picks - send me all your draft picks, you take the quarterbacks, we'll build for the future.

"It's going to be fascinating going forward, we've got a great several months ahead of us."

Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort told reporters earlier this week the team has not yet received calls on the No. 4 pick.
