McCaffrey on Rivera: "A heck of a leader and a gritty guy."

You can't find anyone that has anything bad to say about Ron Rivera. Certainly not his former stud running back, Christian McCaffrey.

Christian McCaffrey is a stud. Ironically, two of his most tame games in the last few seasons have come against the Redskins.

However, make no mistake, he knows talent and quality when he sees it - because he oozes skill himself. 

So when McCaffrey praises someone that drafted him and is now the Washington Redskins head coach, that should make everyone hopeful.

McCaffrey - a guest of the "Sports Junkies" on 106.7 The FAN and NBC Sports Washington Thursday morning.

He played for Rivera for almost three full seasons.
