Williams, holding out over his anger with the front office and the medical staff, has demanded to be traded to another organization. Teams like to perform trades prior to the deadline to set their first 53-man rosters of the regular season. That deadline is 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday.
There have been a few trade rumors, but so far nothing has forced the Redskins to relent on their stance they are not interested in trading their star.
As the clock winds down to the soft deadline, it appears each side is trying their best to call the other's bluff.
