FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys have done a lot of talking about Odell Beckham Jr. And until late last season, when the Cowboys and other suitors found out he wasn't healthy enough to play in 2022, OBJ had done a lot of talking, too.

Time to stop talking ... and to start working out.

And that is what OBJ intends to do on Friday in a workout session scheduled in Arizona, as reported by NFL Network, which adds that in terms of his rehabbed knee, Beckham now is “100 percent.”

The Cowboys, Giants and Bills were the leading pursuers of the veteran Pro Bowl receiver during December, but when the receiver declined to work out for teams, the pursuit eventually ceased.

Even then, though, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones continued to talk about a connection between Dallas and the controversial star, recently promising, "We'll be talking.''

Jones also recently mentioned that he'd visited with Beckham's mother ... maybe an attempt to further Dallas' recruiting efforts, which in December included Cowboys standouts Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs taking him to a Dallas Mavs game.

The NFL has announced that Ryan Willis, a QB from Virginia Tech who is currently under contract to the Memphis Showboats of the USFL, will be the thrower in the workout.

Beckham is eligible to sign with any team at any time, having become a free agent in March 2022.

At one time, Beckham, 30, was seeking a $20 million APY deal and a "long-term home.'' That rumored number moved to $13 million APY at the end of the year.

And now? OBJ - who last played in 2021 and who hasn't had a 1,000-yard season since - 2019 will be working out in pursuit of a big deal ... and a big return to the NFL.
