Cowboys Lineman Named NFL's 'Most Improved'

Tyler Biadasz' improvement was noticeable as he helped anchor another solid Dallas Cowboys' offensive line.

While quarterbacks and flashy skill players tend to dominate headlines when it comes to football, they wouldn't be able to do what they do without a good offensive line. The line makes life easier for everyone on offense - from giving the quarterback plenty of time to throw to opening up running lanes for the running back.

For the Dallas Cowboys, this has been an area of strength for several years.

To The Athletic, though, one particular Dallas lineman stood out this season, as it lists third-year center Tyler Biadasz to the NFL "Most Improved" honors. Says the site:

Biadasz had flashes as both a run and pass blocker over his first two seasons in Dallas, before showing more consistency this season and earning his first Pro Bowl nod. Biadasz cleaned up his footwork during his third year as a starter, which allowed him to use his size at center in more advantageous ways as a run blocker.

He also took a huge leap in the mental side of the game, sorting out protections at a quicker rate to get the Cowboys’ line on the same page and take some of the load off Dak Prescott.

Biadasz' improvement was notable and helped the Cowboys field one of the NFL's best offenses, averaging 27.5 points and 354.9 yards. They were especially dominant on the ground, amassing 135.2 yards per game.

The offensive line is undoubtedly one of the most crucial position groups in football, and vitally important to the Cowboys success. With Biadasz continuing to make clear strides entering his fourth season, it will continue to help elevate the Cowboys offense.
