CeeDee Lamb Message to Dallas Cowboys vs. Rams: 'Give Me The Ball And See What Happens!'

Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb was vocal in his frustrations against the San Francisco 49ers, but with a concerted effort to get him the ball against the Los Angeles Chargers, it paid off big time. Now comes his "give me the ball plan'' plan for the Rams.

Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb has come into his own as the No. 1 receiver over the last 12 months, and now he's starting to exude that same confidence that previous Cowboys' 88s have shown.

After letting his frustrations get the better of him after a poor offensive showing all-round against the San Francisco 49ers that saw Lamb catch just four balls for 49 yards, there was an effort to get him more involved against the Los Angeles Chargers the following week - and it paid off.

Lamb would have seven receptions for 117 yards as he tormented the Chargers' secondary and was a key factor in Dallas securing a 20-17 win.

But after voicing his concerns to then getting fed the ball against L.A, Lamb's message to the offense is simple, yet extremely effective.

“Give me the ball and see what happens,” Lamb said with a smile.

His 117-yard game against the Chargers marked the 12th time in his career that he has surpassed the famed 100-yard mark and is the second time he has done so this season (143-yard game vs. the New York Jets).

Lamb is now 11th since 2020 in 100-yard games (level with Keenan Allen) and has one more than Cincinnati Bengals star Ja'Marr Chase.

Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb is coming off a huge game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

But what is the secret to building on his performance against the Chargers as the Los Angeles Rams come to AT&T Stadium on Sunday?

“Just going out and being who I am,” Lamb said. “That’s to get open and be the best for this offense. To move the ball, move the chains. With that, comes 100-yard games, big games. You get a lot of 16-yard gains, just continuing to move the chains, 100-yard games are coming. For me, that’s definitely what I plan to do [in] this team and continue to do. So, planning on more 100-yard games."

Lamb has 271 more yards than the next-best Dallas receiver (Michael Gallup (205 yards) and has nine more receptions (34, 22 of which have been first downs) than the next-best (Tony Pollard with 25).

So it seems the message going forward is crystal clear if the Cowboys offense wants to be what they think they can be - get 88 the ball.
