Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants: 1 Roster Move, Injury Update, How to Watch, Betting Odds

In this story:
FRISCO - Dallas hosts the New York Giants at AT&T Stadium on Sunday in a rematch of an opening week blowout by the Cowboys and a home winning streak on the line.
It's a rematch of opening week when the Cowboys undressed the Giants 40-0, and an opportunity for Dallas to win its 12th game in a row at AT&T Stadium. It would be the longest such home streak for the Cowboys since an 18-game run from 1979-1981 at Texas Stadium
Undrafted rookie Tommy DeVito gets the nod under center for the Giants while Daniel Jones sits for the rest of the season with an ACL injury, suffered last week against Las Vegas. It's DeVito's first career start with backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor on injured reserve with a rib injury.
“I think it’s a shock to everybody,” said DeVito, who was undrafted out of Illinois after transferring from Syracuse. “Not to have one quarterback but two quarterbacks go down, I mean it’s tough.”
In the first meeting in Week 1, the Cowboys defense sacked Jones seven times and knocked him down another 12, and they'll no doubt target DeVito the same way. What Dallas doesn't want to do is overlook a 2-7 Giants team as a 17.5-point favorite.
“I think the biggest thing is just really keeping your eye on the ball,” Dallas coach Mike McCarthy said. “Our emphasis is on the details and the little things. And the fact of the matter is we’re playing at home and that’s been very important for us, and we just need to take care of business.”
