ARLINGTON - The Dallas Cowboys host a desperate Seattle Seahawks in an NFC showdown in prime time on Thursday night. The Seahawks are riding a two-game losing streak and barely clinging onto the final wild card spot in the NFC conference.
Yes, if the season were to end today, both Seattle and Dallas would snag wild card spots in the postseason. But the Seahawks are big underdogs and could face an uphill battle here.
With a victory, the Cowboys would extend their home winning streak to 14 games, the longest active streak in the NFL. This season, Dallas has been dominating at home to become the first team in NFL history to win each of their first five home games by 20-plus points.
On Thanksgiving, Dallas gobbled up the Washington Commanders, 45-10, highlighted by cornerback DeRon Bland setting the NFL record with his fifth pick-six of the season.

The Seahawks were unable to overcome a sloppy start against the San Francisco 49ers on Thanksgiving, resulting in a 31-13 loss. Seattle allowed six sacks, which was the most in a game this season. Cowboys star Micah Parsons and the defense look to get after Seattle quarterback Geno Smith.
Seattle coach Pete Carroll needs one win to pass Mike Shanahan and Jeff Fisher for 13th place on the NFL’s all-time winningest coaches list with 179.
The Cowboys have now won five out of their last six, with the only hiccup being the loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys are trying to keep pace with the 10-1 Eagles, who lead in the NFC East division. ... with Dallas' challenge being the schedule to come.
