The Dallas Cowboys escaped their preseason Week 2 win over the Arizona Cardinals mostly unscathed when it comes to injuries.

We know of one player who left the game early and that was safety Julius Wood, who suffered a concussion. He'll now be entering the protocol this week.

"Julius Wood (concussion) is ruled out of this game by the Cowboys," Patrik Walker of DallasCowboys.com wrote.

Linebacker Curtis Robinson was another player who appeared to be shaken up during the game, but based on an observation from Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Robinson looked to be OK after the play.

"Cowboys LB Curtis Robinson was down but popped up and jogged off after being looked at by the training staff," Harris reported. "Looks to be OK."

Wood started at safety in preseason Week 2 and recorded four tackles and two run stops, according to Pro Football Focus.

He posted the sixth-best overall grade on defense (73.3) and was tops in tackling grade (86.5), second in run defense grade (76.7) and eighth in coverage grade (63.5). Wood has been having an outstanding offseason and will leave the Cowboys with a very difficult decision to make at safety.

Robinson recorded one tackle and shined in run defense with the fourth-best grade in that area (74.0). He has also been impressive during training camp and could find his way onto the 53-man roster or practice squad as a result.

The Cowboys have no doubt seen some injuries during training camp and the preseason, but they have avoided anything catastophic, which is great news.

Who returned?

Linebacker Jaishawn Barham and cornerbacks Devin Moore and Zion Childress all suited up after missing last week's game due to injury, according to Nick Harris.

Barham was an absolute menace in his preseason debut, with the third-round pick tallying five tackles, including one for loss, three run stops and one pressure.

The rookie has been hyped up when on the field at training camp and he showed exactly why that's the case on Saturday night.

Running backs Jaydon Blue, Phil Mafah and Israel Abanikanda were able to play, also, after dealing with injuries following last week's game.

Who didn't play?

Defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard remains sidelined and has now missed both preseason games and a ton of time in camp.

Along with Bullard, tight ends Michael Trigg and DJ Rogers were both inactive because of injuries. Trigg got hurt in preseason Week 1 and Rogers got hurt at practice last week.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer noted during the week that there is no concern for Trigg's toe injury.
