FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys are working on their preparation for Monday Night at the New York Giants ... and are working outside to simulate the cool fall weather they expect to experience.

"It's a beautiful day,'' Dallas coach Jason Garrett exclaimed before the start of the Friday workout here at The Star - a workout that marked a change in the norm as the Cowboys spent yet another day outside, in the backyard.

And, yes, it was a beautiful day.

The Cowboys' Friday Injury/Practice Report is out (as is the report from the New York Giants) as the two teams prepare for a Monday Nighter in The Meadowlands. And Dallas' feel-good continues.

The 4-3 Cowboys, it seems increasingly, will not have backup tackle Cameron Fleming available. But Anthony Brown, La’el Collins, Zack Martin, Tyron Smith and Leighton Vander Esch all look good to go, as does Pro Bowl receiver Amari Cooper, who has dealt with injury problems all season long.

"Bye week is always helpful,'' Cooper said on Friday, as Dallas will have a Saturday workout here at The Star before departing for New York on Monday. "To go a week without playing a game, the game is what bangs you up. It was very helpful."
