FRISCO - Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Daniel Ross was arrested Wednesday morning by Frisco Police for allegedly having marijuana and a gun in his car during a routine traffic stop, according to law-enforcement officials.

Frisco police department spokesman Sgt. Evan Mattei told 1080 KRLD that Ross was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Ross, who played three games with the Cowboys in 2017 after he was signed off of the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad, is presently on injured reserve with a shoulder injury sustained in August. During his active season. Ross played the 13 games with the Cowboys in 2018, recording 14 tackles and a sack in a reserve role.
