FRISCO - It is hoped that the Dallas Cowboys, with the “NFL year” about to officially begin, are “working on” lots of “big, big deals.”

But one report suggests something “big-big” is brewing from inside The Star … or from the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis .. or maybe from all points in between.

Owner Jerry Jones has talked about his understanding of “emptying the bucket.”

COO Stephen Jones is talking about planning on adding "playmaking juice.''

During the 2022 season with the

And the Cowboys radio affiliate 105.3 The Fan is more than hinting at Dallas “working on a big, big move.”

The first concept that comes to mind is the rebirth of a flirtation with Odell Beckham Jr., the rehabbing wide receiver - and this is no “guess,” given that Jerry has announced, “We’ll be talking” with the controversial former All-Pro.

Is that “big-big” enough?

Obviously, there are literally dozens of “big” things that should be occupying the Joneses time right about now.

Contracts for existing players? Dak Prescott and Tony Pollard are headliners.

Moves in the NFL Draft, where Dallas presently sits at No. 26 overall and May covet a move up? Maybe.

Talent acquisition in free agency at a level about “third tier”? Surely in play, most Cowboys fans hope.

What defines “big-big”? The Cowboys are leaving observers guessing … which of course is part of the point in a Jerry Jones-run business.
