The Atlanta Falcons have been hit hard by the injury bug this week. Head coach Dan Quinn announced on Friday that punter Matt Bosher has re-injured his groin and will not play against the Houston Texans this weekend. Expect Matt Wile to be activated off the practice squad to handle the punting, kickoff and holding duties for the Falcons like he did against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3.

The team’s offensive line will be without guard Jamon Brown this week. He’s in concussion protocol and has not been cleared to play this Sunday. Rookie tackle Kaleb McGary and center Alex Mack have been limited in practice this week but are expected to play against the Texans.

Running back Kenjon Barner will miss his second straight week with a knee injury and cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson has a groin injury that has kept him out of practice all week. He is also declared out for Sunday’s game.

The only other question mark for the Falcons on Sunday is safety Damontae Kazee who is ill but expected to play.

For the Houston Texans, center Greg Mancz is in concussion protocol and will be out. The Texans also have three players listed as questionable for Sunday. On offense, wide receiver Kenny Stills is dealing with a hamstring injury.

On the defensive side of the ball, rookie cornerback Lonnie Johnson wasn’t on the report all week until Friday when he was listed as questionable with a groin injury. Starting safety Tashaun Gipson was listed as a full participant in practice all week but is questionable for Sunday with a wrist injury.
