New York Giants rookie quarterback Tommy DeVito has been voted the Pepsi Zero Sugar NFL Rookie of the Week winner for Week 11.

In the fan vote, DeVito edged out receivers Tank Dell (Houston) and Jayden Reed (Green Bay), running back Jahmyr Gibbs (Detroit), quarterback C.J. Stroud (Houston), and linebacker YaYa Diaby (Tampa Bay) for the honors.

DeVito, thrust into the starting role for the Giants after starter Daniel Jones suffered a season-ending ACL injury and with QB2 Tyrod Taylor on injured reserve for at least another two weeks with a rib cage injury, won his first NFL start last week against the Commanders.

In that game, DeVito completed 69.2 percent of his passes for 246 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions, finishing with a 137.7 passer rating, the highest of any undrafted rookie in the common draft era (since 1967).

DeVito was also seven of eight passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns for a perfect 158.3 passer rating on third-down conversion attempts.

DeVito is the second Giant nominated for the Rookie of the Week award this season, joining cornerback Deonte Banks for the honor. Banks was nominated for his showing against the Commanders in Week 7 but lost to Rams receiver Puka Nacua.
