When it comes to miracles in games between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles, history has tended to favor the Eagles--see The Miracle of the Meadowlands and The Miracle of the New Meadowlands as the most classic examples.

So is it possible that the Giants, who have not won a game in Philadelphia since 2013, making them long overdue, could finally return the favor and pull off a miracle of their own in their first-ever Christmas Day game?

The odds makers and anyone who has seen this season series over the last several years say it's unlikely, but unlike death and taxes, both of which are sure things, sometimes the unexpected could happen.

The Giants sure hope so, especially how the Eagles beat them three times last year, including in the divisional playoffs. The Eagles are on a three-game losing streak as they fight for the No. 1 playoff seed and home-field advantage.
