New York Giants left tackle Andrew Thomas (hamstring), who made it through the entire week of practice on a limited basis, received a DOUBTFUL designation ahead of Sunday's game against the New York Jets.

Thomas has been working his way back from a hamstring pull suffered in the Giants' Week 1 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. He attempted to return the week leading up to New York's Week 4 game against Seattle but suffered a setback.

If Thomas doesn't play, the expectation is that Justin Pugh will start at left tackle, as he did last week.

The Giants also have five starters listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game. Those include cornerback Adoree' Jackson (neck), right tackle Evan Neal (ankle), center John Michael Schmitz (shoulder), outside linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux (knee), and tight end Darren Waller (hamstring).

Daniel Jones Declared OUT For Game Vs. Jets

Of those, Schmitz, Thibodeaux, and Waller should be good to go for Sunday. If Schmitz returns, Ben Bredeson, who had been filling in at center, will likely be at left guard.

Jackson was inactive last week with his neck injury. It's unclear what exactly he has, but just as the Giants have been cautious with quarterback Daniel Jones's neck injury, they are likely taking a similar approach with Jackson.

Neal was inactive last week but was limited in practice all week. If he can't go, Tyre Phillipps will get this second start this season at right tackle.

Jones and running back Gary Brightwell (hamstring) were declared out.
