Giants Assistant Special Teams Coordinator Anthony Blevins Draws Interest from Browns

New York Giants assistant special teams coordinator Anthony Blevins has drawn interest from the Cleveland Browns for their vacant special teams coordinator post, previously held by Mike Priefer, who was fired by head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Blevins, according to Schefter, also interviewed for the Broncos' special teams coordinator position.

Blevins has been with the Giants for five seasons, four as as an assistant special teams coach. He also contributed as an assistant linebackers coach in 2021 and was the team's assistant defensive backs coach in 2020.

Blevins was previously with the Arizona Cardinals before joining the Giants staff in 2018.

Blevins graduated from UAB in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in sociology and earned a master's in instructional technology in 2006 from Mississippi State. He also earned a Ph.D. in instructional systems & workforce development from Mississippi State in the fall of 2015.
