Giants Unveil New MetLife Stadium Field

In this story:
The new artificial surface installed at MetLife Stadium isn't the only change New York Giants fans will see this fall when they attend games.
And it's a sight to behold indeed.
The field now features the Giants logo emblazoned at mid-field, the first such time in all the stadiums the Giants have called home that their team logo is featured in such a prominent spot.

The logo, which spans from one 43-yard line to the other, replaces the NFL shield that had occupied the prime real estate space for years. Previously, the Giants logo would only be painted in the endzones at either side of the field, the exception usually coming when they played the Jets, at which point one end zone would feature the Giants colors and the other, the Jets colors.
The new midfield marker will be applied before each Giants home game via a special paint that can easily be removed so that the Jets, who also call MetLife Stadium home, can have their team-oriented logo at mid-field for their home games this season.
