Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne had one of the best games of his young career in Week 5, rushing for 136 yards and two touchdowns and adding another 48 yards as a receiver.

In short, Etienne was everywhere. For the Jaguars in their 25-20 win over the Buffalo Bills, he was arguably their best performer outside of quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

But despite the career day, Etienne took to social media to joke that even his own big game came back to bite him.

Sunday marked the second time in Etienne's career that he rushed for multiple touchdowns in a game, while also marking the second-most single-game rushing yardage for him in his career.

Etienne's first run was a six-yard score around the edge to give the Jaguars an 18-7 lead in the fourth-quarter, but it was his second touchdown that showed what he is capable of, with the former Clemson star exploding downfield for a 35-yard go-ahead touchdown to seal the win.

"That's just the NFL. You see week in and week out, you won't see guys get 100 yards if they don't have 20 carries. This is the NFL," Etienne said after the game. "Everyone has great defenders out there, great defensive lines and stuff like that, and it was just stick with it, like the first half. They played really well.

"They played disciplined. They were making tackles and you've just got to wear them down throughout the game, and wear them down, wear them down. We were able to do that, and those tackles they were making in the first quarter, second quarter, third quarter, fourth quarter, they don't make those tackles anymore. Guys start making business decisions and that's when you have to put your head down and keep running."
