The Jacksonville Jaguars have added to their running back room, signing former Atlanta Falcons running back Qadree Ollison on Monday.

Ollison will join Travis Etienne, Snoop Conner and Mekhi Sargent n the 90-man offseason roster. Running back JaMycal Hasty, who spent the majority of 2022 as the Jaguars' No. 2 running back behind James Robinson, is a restricted free agent.

Ollison was originally drafted by Atlanta in the fifth round (152nd overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft. He played in 19 games and totaled 158 yards on 44 carries from 2019-21 with the Falcons, scoring five touchdowns. In 2022, he appeared in three games for Dallas.

In his senior year of college at Pittsburgh, Ollison started all 14 games and recorded 1,213 yards and 11 touchdowns on 194 carries, which ranked second in the ACC. He was Second Team All-ACC in both 2015 and 2018.

Ollison spent the first two years of his NFL career playing under Jaguars running backs coach Bernie Parmalee, who held the same position with the Falcons. The addition of Ollison reunites Parmalee with the former Day 3 pick, who scored four touchdowns as a rookie with the Falcons in 2019.

Ollison will likely have to fight for a depth spot on the Jaguars' roster, with Etienne clearly having the top back spot secured after a 1,000-yard season in which he proved to be one of the Jaguars' best weapons and one of the most explosive running backs in football.

In addition to signing Ollison, the Jaguars also signed 14 players to Reserve/Future contracts on Monday, filling out their roster for the offseason.
