In addition, the Jaguars will play the following teams on the road.
- Houston Texans
- Indianapolis Colts
- Tennessee Titans
- Chicago Bears
- Detroit Lions
- Miami Dolphins
- Las Vegas Raiders
- Philadelphia Eagles
- Buffalo Bills
NFL schedules are determined each season by a set, rotating formula – with teams playing an entire division from their own conference every three seasons and an entire division from the other conference every four seasons.
"Yeah and we all feel that. We do. Conversations I've had with Shad [Khan], over the last several weeks really since Week 1. I mean, you only get so many windows in this league, and we feel like with the personnel that we have, and we'll continue to add, our window's now," Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said on Monday.
"We've got to make the most of our opportunities and Trent's [General Manager Trent Baalke] the same way. We continue to build the roster that way and continue to add pieces. We just can't have the collapse like we did this year, because you feel like now the season's sort of wasted. You had a great opportunity to win the division and we didn't, so we have to live with that. We have to own it and we've got to learn from it. I still feel like we still have the best football ahead of us moving forward.”
