Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan commented over the weekend on a variety of topics, ranging from Jalen Ramsey to what playing regular season games in London mean for his team. And Wednesday, more Khan comments on London and the Jaguars surfaced.

In a sit down interview with NFL Network's Rich Eisen, host of NFL The Grind on EPIX, Khan told Eisen that there are "no plans" for his team to move to London. The talk of an NFL franchise moving to London has been a hot button topic this week, with the Los Angeles Chargers and NFL denying the Chargers have plans to move the Chargers overseas.

“Well, I think no, there are no plans for us to move the team to London," Khan responded when Eisen asked if he thinks the Jaguars could move to London.

Eisen also asked Khan if he thinks London is a viable option for any team at this time, and Khan told him he does not see it happening in the near future simply because the demand is not yet there.

“Personally, in my humble opinion, I don’t think it’s anywhere near close to that,”Khan said to Eisen. “We don’t want to have more games than there’s really organic demand for.”

Khan has remained steadfast in publicly supporting the Jaguars having a home in Jacksonville while still noting the team relies heavily on the games it plays in London. The Jaguars have played a game in London each year since 2013 and are scheduled to do so again in 2020. Khan has also said the Jaguars would like to extend their contract with the NFL to continue playing games overseas.

“The idea I had was, why don't we sell the games we can in Jacksonville and then play a game and make a long-term commitment to London,” Khan told Eisen. “Which frankly, a lot of people thought was very crazy. But, I think it’s turned out to be great, and we need London to really have a stable franchise in Jacksonville.
