NFL Power Rankings Roundup: Where Do the Jaguars Land Entering Week 17?

The Jacksonville Jaguars are arguably the NFL's most struggling team over the last month.
Four games, four losses, and a never-ending list of questions facing the final two weeks of the season. That is what the Jaguars have in front of them entering their New Year's Eve clash with the Carolina Panthers.
So with all of this in mind, where do the Jaguars land in national power rankings this week?
Fox Sports: No. 18 (-3)
"Trevor Lawrence’s injury list is about a mile long at this point, but even more concerning are the Jaguars' continued problems on defense. There’s still time to pull out of the tailspin. But can they?" Fox Sports said.
NFL.com: No. 13 (-3)
"It feels like Jacksonville's season is cratering as I type, with the Jaguars losers of four straight and playing their worst football of the season. The Buccaneers took Sunday's game over in the second quarter and never looked back. The Jaguars still have a mathematically strong chance to make the postseason -- and even win the division. If they do hit the tourney, though, the forecast will still be shaky, even if they start at home. The Jags are 2-5 in games in Jacksonville, losing the past two against playoff-caliber foes. Trevor Lawrence just hasn’t had the Year 3 many of us expected -- and now he's dealing with a sprained shoulder -- but it’s hardly all on the quarterback. The Jags have kicking woes, defensive concerns and are not very healthy at wide receiver. Doug Pederson should be commended for his work in turning this franchise around, but it has gone off the rails lately," NFL.com said.
USA Today: No. 14 (-1)
"The 9-8 record they're trending toward this year feels … far different than last year's 9-8 crew, especially with battered QB Trevor Lawrence deeming the team's recent showings "really embarrassing and frustrating," USA Today said.
Bleacher Report: No. 15 (-5)
"The Jacksonville Jaguars are in trouble. Quite a lot of trouble. A month ago, the Jacksonville Jaguars were in the mix for the AFC's No. 1 seed. But after getting blown out by the Buccaneers in Tampa, the Jaguars have now lost four games in a row and may not make the playoffs at all. Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence didn't make it all the way through the game. After spending much of the week in the concussion protocol, Lawrence exited Sunday's loss with a shoulder injury. But the young signal-caller didn't hold back on how his team has looked over the last month while talking to reporters," Bleacher Report said.
CBS Sports: No. 12 (-2)
"They are a disaster right now. The offensive line is bad, Trevor Lawrence isn't playing well and the defense isn't good. And yet they can be a playoff team still," CBS said.
Yahoo! Sports: No. 13 (-2)
"Trevor Lawrence is dealing with a new injury, this one to his right shoulder. It makes evaluating Lawrence after Year 3 more difficult. But it's also fair to say where he's at is disappointing. He's not a bust, but he's not on an obvious path to stardom either. And, no, it's not because he has a terrible supporting cast. It's not the 2023 49ers cast but it's fine. He just hasn't broken out the way we expected, and it's OK to admit that,"
Yahoo! Sports said.
