Week 15 QB Index: Where Does Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence Stand Before Bout vs. Ravens?

Nothing really went right for the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14.
The Jaguars may have scored 27 points, but they still managed to turn the ball over four times in a 31-27 loss to the Cleveland Browns that dropped their record to 8-5.
Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was responsible for three of those turnovers, throwing a trio of interceptions that were the result of miscues between him and his receivers.
“Yeah, it’s frustrating for all of us. I think you ask any guy on the offensive side of the ball or defense, whoever, any guy on our team, it’s frustrating to have mistakes and stuff that you can control," Lawrence said on Wednesday. "You’re not going to make every play, there’s going to be things the defense makes plays and does some things well that hey, you’ve just got to give that one to them. Stuff that we can control, and there was stuff speaking candidly, in the game where I made some mistakes that I typically don’t’ make. I thought some of my progressions were off and some of the decisions I made I want back.
"It’s all of us that have a hand in it. I think we’re all frustrated when you come in Monday and you watch the tape, you just try to make the corrections and move on, you just want get another chance to play and get that out of your system. We all feel that way, and yeah we’re frustrated, but it’s a good frustration. It’s something that we should be after not playing well. After all that, still having a chance to win the game, I think it just shows that if we can clean up some of these mistakes and just play more efficiently, we’re going to be a hard team to stop. We’ve been shooting ourselves in the foot too much.”
Lawrence completed 28 passes on 50 attempts for 257 yards and three touchdowns. It did mark Lawrence’s sixth game throwing for at least three touchdowns in his career, and Lawrence now has the fourth-most passing touchdowns in Jaguars history (54), passing QB Byron Leftwich.
As such, Lawrence fell one spot in this week's QB Index from NFL.com, falling from No. 8 to No. 9.
"The fact Lawrence played in this game, just six days after suffering a high-ankle sprain that left him severely hobbled in a Week 13 loss to Cincinnati, was an achievement. That was about where the achievements ended for Lawrence, though. The quarterback threw three interceptions against Cleveland’s ferocious defense, with two being his fault, and the other on Calvin Ridley for not turning around in time to see a missile flying past him. Lawrence did some good, of course, leading two desperate touchdown drives in the fourth quarter, but his mistakes (plus another Jaguars turnover) had already buried them too deep to overcome. With two straight losses and the ankle injury still being somewhat concerning (despite his participation Sunday), the Jaguars have officially entered crunch time. They’ll need Lawrence to be his best to lead them through it," NFL.com said.
Here is where we will track Lawrence's rank in the QB Index each week:
