Jalen Ramsey now a father of 2, questionable for Sunday's game in Denver

When Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone said in a statement Wednesday night that star cornerback Jalen Ramsey would be flying to Nashville to be with his family as he awaits the birth of his second child, most assumed he would most definitely not be suiting up on Sunday to play the Denver Broncos (0-3).

But Marrone announced on Friday that Ramsey's child had been born and he would be listed as questionable for the Jaguars (1-2) road game, and not ruled out like most assumed he would be.

"First of all, congratulations to Jalen and his family on the birth of his second daughter. Both mom and baby are healthy, obviously that is important," Marrone said Friday afternoon.

"We have been in communication, and we will just see, you know. If anything comes up, I will make sure you're aware it."

This comes off the heels of Nate Burleson of NFL Network reporting on Friday that he thinks Ramsey will play on Sunday. Burleson has had Ramsey on his 17 Weeks podcast each of the last two weeks, so he has some connection.

"He is listed as questionable, obviously personal with the baby being born and obviously with his lower back," Marrone said. "I think when he gets back, we will see how he's doing."
