Jalen Ramsey misses Jaguars Wednesday practice with a back injury

Jacksonville Jaguars star cornerback Jalen Ramsey has been one of the major storylines of the entire 2019 NFL season ever since he requested a trade following the team's 13-12 loss in week 2.
And thus, it seems like every single little thing that involves Ramsey results in a national media explosion of reports, and Ramsey sitting out of Wednesday's practice with a back injury was no different.
With Jaguars’ CB Jalen Ramsey not practicing today due to what the team is reporting as a back injury, it is far-fetched to think he will play Sunday’s game at Denver, per sources. Ramsey and the Jaguars are engaged in a stare-down about a potential trade.

Ramsey was also held out of Monday's activities with an illness. Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone said Ramsey was simply just sick on Monday and has recovered from that, but he is dealing with back tightness.
"I don't know (when it happened). I really don't know. He just gets tight. He said his back got tight," Marrone said before practice Wednesday. "It is normal. His back has gotten tight before."
Marrone said he is not concerned with Ramsey's back flare ups or illness on Monday, commenting that throughout the long course of a season, "Everyone gets this stuff."
Ramsey has started all 51 regular season games since being drafted 5th overall by the Jaguars in the 2016 NFL draft. If he misses Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos, it would be his first time as an inactive in his NFL career.
