The Jacksonville Jaguars made an addition to their quarterback room, but it came with a coat attached.

According to multiple reports, the Jaguars have traded a fifth-round luck draft pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers for third-year quarterback Josh Dobbs.

The Jaguars had two fifth-round selections due to last year’s Dante Fowler trade to the Los Angeles Rams. Phillip Heilman of The Athletic reported that the pick the Jaguars traded away was their original fifth-round pick and not the one they got from the Rams.

“Dobbs, 6-3, 216, was originally drafted by Pittsburgh in the fourth round (135th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. He did not see action during his rookie season and played in five games in 2018. He completed 6 of 12 passes for 43 yards and added 11 rushing yards during last season’s campaign,” the team said in a release.

The Jaguars had to make a move at quarterback after Nick Foles suffered a fractured clavicle and will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.
