The Jets have traded cornerback Parry Nickerson to the Seahawks for a conditional 2021 seventh-round pick, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Nickerson joins Jachai Polite and Elijah McGuire as Mike Maccagnan draft picks that new Jets GM Douglas has parted ways with.

Nickerson was selected by the Jets in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Nickerson amassed 21 combined tackles in 16 games as a rookie.

Nickerson was low on the depth chart and struggled in the preseason (nine combined tackles), so this was a good move by Douglas to potentially recoup a draft pick.

In addition to trading Nickerson, the Jets parted ways with cornerbacks Bless Austin, Tevaughn Campbell, Marcus Cooper, Mark Myers, Kyron Brown and Alex Brown.
