WATCH: Jets fans furious about Madden 20 ratings for Sam Darnold and Jamal Adams

A few weeks ago, Jets fans were ecstatic that Quinnen Williams is the top-rated rookie in Madden 20. However, now that the full ratings are out, Gang Green diehards have some major gripes.
The two biggest complaints pertain to the ratings of quarterback Sam Darnold and strong safety Jamal Adams. Darnold checks in as a 74, while Adams is second on the team with a 90 rating.
Needless to say, Jets fans were livid:
Some Madden idiot thinking Fitzpatrick is better than Sam Darnold. https://t.co/Xurj0guDfS

Sam Darnold is a 74 in Madden? 😂😂😂

Jamal only being a 90 is a sin

Curiously, Darnold is rated lower than Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick (75) and Adams is only the No. 5 rated safety. Those are definitely head-scratching decisions that should be scrutinized since Darnold is a rising quarterback and Adams is coming off a Pro Bowl season.
The top-rated Jets player is running back Le'Veon Bell, who earned a 92. Linebackers C.J. Mosley (87) and Avery Williamson (85) and defensive end Leonard Williams (84) comprise the rest of the top-ranked Jets. Defensive tackle Quinnen Williams (80) is the only rookie ranked as an 80 or above.

The complete list of Jets ratings for Madden 20 can be found here.
Despite an exciting cast of playmakers, apparently the creators of Madden don't think much of the Jets (78), ranking them 27th out of 32 teams. The Jets' defense is rated as an 80 while the offense is ranked as a 73.
Here's the list of team ratings for Madden 20, with the Eagles (89), Cowboys (88), Saints (87), Patriots (87) and Packers (87) ranked as the top five.
While this is just a video game, you can rest assured there's ample motivation for the slighted Jets to prove their worth on the field. If the Jets live up to the expectations of their fans, this time next year the respect will certainly be reciprocated from Madden.
