WATCH: Jets QB Sam Darnold leads opening TD drive for second straight preseason game

Two preseason series, two touchdown drives for Sam Darnold. For the second week in a row, the Jets offense reached the end zone on the opening drive.
Jets running back Ty Montgomery bounced to the outside for a one-yard touchdown on the first series vs. the host Falcons on Thursday night. New kicking acquisition Taylor Bertolet missed the extra point attempt.

Darnold was once again impressive in his second touchdown drive of the preseason. On second-and-six from their own 38-yard-line, Darnold connected with Quincy Enunwa for a 15-yard completion. On the next play, Darnold went deep with Robby Anderson for 21 yards down to the Atlanta 26-yard-line.

From there, Montgomery had 14 and 6 yard runs, followed by a third-and-four conversion from Darnold to Anderson that preceded the touchdown.
