Detroit Lions' Key Offensive Players Return to Practice

All Detroit Lions were accounted for at Tuesday practice.

The Detroit Lions returned to the practice field Tuesday, ahead of their Week 10 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Frank Ragnow, David Montgomery and Jonah Jackson all returned to action at the team's Allen Park practice facility.

All three missed the team's Week 8 matchup, while Montgomery and Jackson have missed multiple games.

New Lions wideout Donovan Peoples-Jones was spotted at practice donning his assigned No. 19 jersey.

Dan Campbell provided encouraging updates for the trio of players during his Monday press conference. In total, all 53 players on the active roster were accounted for during the portion of practice open to the media.

The third-year leader discussed the benefits of the team's bye week Monday. In addition to allowing the team to recuperate, it allowed the coaching staff to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of its roster.

“Yeah, well, I would say the bye helps you, because you’ve already, I don’t know how much tonight’s game, I mean, we’ll certainly look at that. But, it’s – the hay is kind of already in the barn," Campbell said. "We’ve got an eight-game snapshot of this team already, and there’s not going to be a ton that we’ll change on that. There’ll be a couple things that we’ll just make sure we’ll verify one way or another. But, it’s really, the bye gives you that luxury to kind of catch up.

"I also told the staff, I did not – at the sake of us not looking at ourselves and deep-diving ourselves and putting in a little bit of work today," Campbell continued. "I wanted to make sure our guys got that and saw that, because it’s always going to be about us, it is. So, we’ll really deep dive the Chargers tomorrow. They come in, and then we’ll start on them.”
