Lions' Estimated Divisional Round Wednesday Injury Report

On Wednesday, the Detroit Lions conducted a walkthrough at their Allen Park facility, to prepare for a showdown with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs.

These two teams met in Week 6, with the Lions winning by two scores in a low-scoring affair. However, both teams have evolved plenty since then.

As a result, the Lions are looking at new ways to attack a vaunted Buccaneers defense that has plenty of weapons, individuals who are capable of impacting the outcome of a game.

"Look, I know that there's some things that we need to do because we do them well," said coach Dan Campbell. "And, we can't go away from that. But, at the same token, we've got to be smart about how we attack them. Some of this, the sledge hammer against a steel door can only last for so long. We've got to be smart about it."

The Lions' offense has been one of the best in the league, so the matching of wits between each team's strengths makes for a fascinating matchup.

"This is a championship defense we're getting ready to face," Campbell explained. "This is one of the best ones in the league. It was when we faced them the first time, and it still is."

Campbell provided positive updates on both Sam LaPorta and Kalif Raymond Wednesday. LaPorta came out of Sunday's game without any issues after playing through a hyperextended knee.

Raymond's status, meanwhile, will likely be determined later in the week, with Campbell adding that the punt returner is improving.
